Loaded hourly rate: $0.00
Total labor cost: $0.00
How loaded labor cost is calculated
Loaded hourly rate = base wage × (1 + payroll tax percentage ÷ 100) + hourly benefits + hourly insurance and other burden. Total labor cost = loaded hourly rate × total worker hours.
For example, a $50 wage, 10% payroll taxes, $5 benefits, and $3 other hourly burden produce a $63 loaded hourly rate. At 100 worker hours, the modeled labor cost is $6,300. These are illustrative inputs.
Total worker hours means the sum of all workers’ hours: four workers for eight hours equal 32 worker hours. Enter fringes, overtime, and other applicable costs without double counting. This tool does not determine prevailing wage requirements or estimate installation productivity.
